NIDS-CRAM will launch the results of the Third Wave Survey on 17 February at 10:00. The latest results report changes in employment and child hunger over the second half of 2020. This includes some remarkable findings related to the jobs recovery between June and October 2020 and concerning trends in child hunger. Researchers will present the main findings from 12 research papers, and answer important questions, such as:
- How many jobs have returned between June and October 2020?
- Who became employed? Job-losers or the previously unemployed?
- Has hunger increased, decreased, or stayed the same?
- How many South Africans are experiencing depressive symptoms?
