GTAC is committed to building a capable, ethical and developmental state. A core part of our work is strengthening the ability of government departments and public institutions to plan, implement and deliver services more effectively to South Africans.

We do this by combining professional and technical advisory support with a comprehensive programme of training and capacity development initiatives.

Advisory support to build capability

GTAC provides professional and technical advisory services to the public sector through our three hubs. This work is not only about solving immediate challenges, but also about transferring skills, strengthening systems and embedding sustainable capacity within government departments.

Training & Capacity Development

A significant portion of GTAC’s work focuses on equipping public servants with the knowledge, tools and practical skills they need to deliver better outcomes. Our training and capacity development offering is designed to support officials across national, provincial, and local government.
