Historically GTAC has done extensive work in infrastructure. Recently the infrastructure-related functions that previously sat in GTAC were transferred to the Infrastructure Finance and Implementation Support Programme (IFISP), now housed within the Infrastructure Finance and Implementation Support Agency Programme Management Office (IFISA PMO) at the DBSA.

Delivering greater impact for government

Each of GTAC’s hubs plays a distinct but interconnected role, ensuring that strategy, implementation and support functions are aligned to deliver results. The hub structure helps to:

  • Strengthen collaboration across teams and functions
  • Reduce duplication and improve efficiency
  • Consolidate expertise into clear centres of excellence
  • Improve accountability and delivery

By aligning capabilities across the organisation, GTAC is better positioned to deliver coherent, high-impact support to government.

Delivering measurable impact

All hubs work toward shared institutional outcomes:

1
Improved operational efficiency and institutional performance
2
High-quality evidence, data and technical advice for decision-making
3
Stronger capacity development and programme implementation support

These outcomes guide GTAC’s work and define how impact is measured.
