Appointment is subject to security clearance, the signing of a performance agreement or plan, verification of the applicant's documents and reference checking, including social media checks.
No appointment will be finalised for SMS positions until short-listed candidates have completed the Pre-Entry Certificate for Senior Management Services (Nyukela), offered at the National School of Government (NSG).
Successful candidates will be appointed on probation for twelve (12) months as per the prescribed rules.
