This presentation gives an overview of the IF which was established to address the need for blended finance solutions in support of large-scale infrastructure investments.
Government has committed R100 billion over a 10-year period as seed capital to catalyse significantly more capital from the private sector, institutional investors, multilateral development banks and development finance institutions. The webinar shared the genesis of the IF, its value proposition, key achievements, challenges, constraints, and outlook for the future.
