The Business Support Hub enables GTAC's effective delivery by providing integrated, agile and coordinated support services that align people, systems and resources across the Technical Advisory and Programme Management Hubs.

Overview of Industrial Policy

This chapter analyses the impact of industrial policy on the demand for labour. It shows that South Africa’s industrial development has been historically been driven by minerals extraction and import-substitution industrialisation, overlaid by apartheid policies aimed at excluding the majority of the population from the economy.
