This document presents an up to date review of work on skill forecasting worldwide. It builds upon an earlier review of work in this area conducted on behalf of CEDEFOP, Wilson (2001). The latter surveyed what work had been completed across the developed world in this area. The present document extends this, highlighting the latest developments in a number of countries. It is part of a series of documents reviewing these issues for the South African Department of Labour.
