Description
Over the last year GTAC has been working with a provincial department of education on a project to improve its supply chain management. The project offers several novel approaches and insights for both GTAC and broad public sector reform in South Africa. While the education department has seen multiple interventions over the past 20 years, most have resulted in limited or no success in improving the department’s performance. This case study shares the action-learning component of the project, and contains insights and recommendations for public sector reform in South Africa.
