Section 4 reviews the impact of unions and minimum wages on overall wages and equity, while section 5 looks at the evidence of racial and gender discrimination. Section 6 investigates the effect of workers’ spatial mobility on local labour markets and therefore on wage levels, while section 7 provides some concluding remarks.
